A Joint Venture of several parties had won the concession agreement for the operation of the new container terminal at the Port of Tripoli, and one of these parties was o ering its share for sale. Mindsets/SETS assisted a private investor in valuation of this share by considering the terminal’s financials for the 25 years of concession operations. This exercise involved forecasting the container tra c, estimating the associated revenues and costs, along with compiling the financial statements including the capital investments needed. The study determined the market value of the concession, based upon which the partial share sale conditions were determined. Mindsets/SETS defined and undertook the necessary scope of work which included due diligence, technical assessment, as well as commercial assessment.
